Elastic Fiber is mainly distributed in the arterial wall, alveolar wall and skin of human body. It is yellow when fresh and has strong refraction. The commonly used dyeing methods of elastic fiber include Gomori Aldehyde-Fuchsin Method, Weigert Elastic Fiber Method, Orcein Method, Victoria Blue Method, and Iron Iodine Hematoxylin Method.Victoria Blue is a phenylmethane dye that can display elastic fibers and hepatitis B surface antigens. It is not easy to over stain and does not fade easily after staining.
Elastic Fiber Stain Kit(Victoria Blue Method) is based on the improvement of tanake Victoria blue method. It is applicable to display elastic fiber and hepatitis B surface antigen. It is used to observe whether the elastic fiber in the tissue proliferates or breaks and disintegrates clinically, so as to assist in diagnosis.
This reagent kit is only used in the field of scientific research and not for clinical diagnosis.
