Product Introduction:
Eosin is a xanthene type of synthetic dye, a peach or pink powder. The staining solution consists of Eosin, deionized water, etc., using the principle of dye rejection, that is, the relevant based on damage to the cell membrane, such as in non-living (dead) cells on the membrane, allowing non-transmembrane dyes can enter the membrane staining; and the cell membrane of the living cells can resist the dye to enter, so the production of rejection of the phenomenon, not coloring.
Sperm Viability Stain (Eosin Method) is used clinically to evaluate sperm survival by detecting the integrity of the sperm membrane. It can be used to routinely test the viability of all sperm specimens, and to identify sperm with intact cell membranes by dye rejection, thus yielding the percentage of viable spermatozoa. This stain is intended for scientific use only and is not intended for clinical diagnosis or other uses.
