Product Introduction:

Cefotaxime sodium salt (Cefotaxime sodium salt) is a semi-synthetic third generation cephalosporin antibiotics/antibiotics, by combining with penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) to prevent the last step of peptidoglycan synthesis process, inhibit peptidoglycan synthesis, thus affecting the normal synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Finally, the bacteria are cleaved by the action of autolysin.

Thixosporin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that significantly affects the vast majority of gram-negative bacteria except Pseudomonas and the vast majority of Gram-positive bacteria excluding enterococcus. Compared with the first generation of cephalosporins, the second generation of cephalosporins showed stronger biological activity against enterobacteriaceae. It also acts on some aminoglycoside resistant antibiotics, including amikacin in Gram-negative bacteria. It also acts on penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae. It can also work synergistically with penicillin or aminoglycoside antibiotics to selectively kill gram-negative bacteria. Thixosporin has a strong β-lactamase stability, which can significantly inhibit the occurrence of bacterial resistance.

Description:

β-galactosidase inhibitory antibiotic, which can inhibit the crosslinking of peptidoglycan and thus inhibit the synthesis of bacterial cell wall; Preparation of biological medium. Used in plant tissue culture to inhibit agrobacterium.

Use and synthesis method:

Thixosporin is not cytotoxic to plants, so it is also commonly used in agrobacterium tumefaciens mediated transformation experiments to control bacterial growth, and can also be combined with vancomycin (V8050). The commonly used effective concentration is 50-500 mg/l.

Feature:

Titer: 916-964 μg /mg, reference use a concentration of 10ug/ml, for standard E. coli.

Note :

(1) For cell experiments, after dissolution, disposable needle filter must be used to remove bacteria.

(2) For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and wear disposable gloves.
