Product introduction

"Enzymes that catalyze the oxidation of phenolic compounds, such as tyrosine, phenolic compounds, etc., to quinones." Such enzymes are widely found in nature and widely distributed in plants, such as potatoes, tea and sumac milk. Melanin in the skin, hair, and cornea of higher animals is also a product of the oxidation of tyrosine by this enzyme. They are also produced in fungi such as mushrooms and other microorganisms. Usually extracted from wild mushrooms, it is one of the biocatalyst proteins containing copper ions. Isoelectric point < 5.0; The nitrogen content was about 13.6%. The copper content is about 0.25%. The UV absorption peaks were at 273nm and 330nm. It catalyzes the oxidation of tyrosine to dopa and the further oxidation of dopa to the melanin-producing precursor, dopa quinone.

Scope of application

It catalyzes the oxidation of tyrosine to dopa and the further oxidation of dopa to the melanin-producing precursor, dopa quinone.
