Properties: Yellow to orange crystalline powder. Has a special smell, taste slightly bitter. There are three types of crystals with different solubility in water. When dry, it is not affected by scattered light, but it is easy to be deteriorated by light in alkaline solution. In the dark on inorganic acid stability. Decomposition at 278 ~ 282℃ (color becomes darker at about 240℃). 1G is dissolved in 3000 ~ 15000ml water, the pH of the saturated aqueous solution is about 6, and the aqueous solution is yellow and green fluorescence. At 27.5℃, the solubility in anhydrous ethanol is 0.0045g/100ml. Soluble in dilute lye (decomposition), slightly soluble in cyclohexanol, amyl acetate, benzyl alcohol and phenol, insoluble in ether, chloroform, acetone and benzene. Maximum absorption wavelength 220 ~ 225, 226, 371, 444, 475nm. Mild toxicity, median lethal dose (rats, oral) > 10g/kg
