Product introduction:
Sunset yellow (SY), chemical name 6-hydroxy-5- [(4-sulfonylphenyl) azo] -2-naphthesulfonic acid disodium salt, molecular formula C16H10N2Na2O7S2, is a water-soluble azo colorant and a commonly used artificial food pigment. Due to its stable properties and low price, it is widely used for coloring food and medicine. Sunset yellow (SY) is soluble in glycerol, propylene glycol, and water, slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in fats and oils.
