Product introduction:
Sudan II is a fat soluble synthetic coloring agent, belonging to the azo class of compounds. Insoluble in water; Soluble in acetone, chloroform, and benzene; Slightly soluble in alcohol. It undergoes a blue shift under alkaline conditions and is an acid-base indicator that can be used as an endpoint indicator for acid-base titration. It can also be used to stain triglycerides in frozen sections and some protein bound lipids and lipoproteins on paraffin sections.
