Appearance:Colorless Transparent Solution
This reagent is a colorless transparent liquid with pungent odor, the upper layer is a citric acid solution layer, pH< 5.0, this product does not contain 8-hydroxyquinoline, and is usually used with guanidine isothiocyanate for RNA extraction.
Note: RNA extraction phenol reagent has strong corrosive, should try to avoid skin contact or inhalation. If it is found to be red or brown, it indicates that oxidation has occurred and cannot be continued.
