Product introduction
(1) As a protein denaturant, it can dissolve some insoluble or denatured proteins, such as endosomes; It can also be used for the initial folding of active proteins or enzymes.
(2) was used as a strong denaturant in the experiment of extracting total RNA from cells. Guanidine hydrochloride solution can dissolve proteins, resulting in structural destruction of the cell, destruction of the secondary structure of the nuclear protein, and dissociation from the nucleic acid. It is also able to sufficiently inhibit ribonuclease activity in cells and whole tissues. Because of its biological destructive properties, buffers containing guanidine hydrochloride or guanidine thiocyanate are often called dissociative buffers.
