Product Introduction:
Fluconazole is a lanosterol 14 alpha demethylase inhibitor that inhibits ergosterol formation and is used for the treatment and prevention of superficial and systemic fungal infections.
Description:
This product belongs to the pyrrole class of antifungal drugs, antifungal spectrum is wide. Oral and intravenous injection of various animal fungal infections, Such as candida infection (including immune normal or immune impaired human and animal systemic candidiasis), cryptococcus neoformans infection (including intracranial infection), Malazium furfur, Microspora, trichophyton, epidermophyton, dermatitis blastomyces, coccidioides (including intracranial infection) and tissue plasma, Tinomyces phei, cladospora carinii are effective. The antibacterial activity of this product in vitro was significantly lower than that of ketoconazole, but the antibacterial activity of this product in vivo was significantly higher than that in vitro. The main mechanism of action of this product is highly selective interference with the cytochrome P-450 activity of fungi, thus inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol on the fungal cell membrane.
Use and synthesis method:
Scientific research reagent, widely used in molecular biology, pharmacology and other scientific research.
Solubility:
Soluble in methanol, soluble in DMSO (61 mg/ml, 25℃), ethanol 61 mg/ml, 25℃), slightly soluble in dichloromethane, water (<1 mg/ml, 25℃) or acetic acid, insoluble in ether
