Chlorocarbamide is a phenylurea cytokinin, which can affect the development of plant buds, accelerate cell mitosis, promote cell enlargement and differentiation, and prevent the abscission of fruits and flowers, thereby promoting plant growth, early ripening, delaying the senescence of leaves in the later stage of crops, and increasing yield.
It is mainly manifested in: ① the function of promoting the growth of stem, leaf, root and fruit, such as tobacco planting can make leaves hypertrophy and increase yield.
② Promote results. It can increase the production of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes (tomatoes), eggplants, and apples.
③ accelerated fruit thinning and defoliation. Thinning results in increased fruit yield, improved quality, and uniform fruit size. For cotton and soybeans, defoliation makes harvesting easier.
④ It can be used as a herbicide in high concentration.
⑤ Others. For example, the drying effect of cotton, sugar beet and sugar cane increase sugar content.
