Product Introduction:

Coomasil bright blue protein glue fast dyeing solution is a read-to-use fast, sensitive and safe dyeing solution, using Coomasil bright Blue G-250 as a dye, which can be used for fast dyeing of SDS-PAGE or non-denaturating electrophoretic protein gel. The dyeing time is short, and protein electrophoresis bands can be detected within half an hour.

Usage: Preparation of working liquid, take 100ml solution B, add 2ml solution A, mix well, this is the working liquid. After the working liquid is prepared, please use it within a week, the expiration effect will have a certain impact.

1. Take the PAGE glue after electrophoresis (8cm× 10cm size as an example) and put it into a container, add 50ml double steaming water or deionized water, heat it until it boils and then stop, (optional: continue to shake on the decolorizing table for 5 minutes), discard the aqueous solution.

2. Add 25ml quick dyeing solution, heat to boil, keep boiling for 30-60 seconds, stop heating, continue to shake on the decolorizing table for 5-10 minutes, discard the dyeing solution (protein bands should be visible at this time).

3. Add about 50 ml water, heat to boiling, keep boiling for 30-60 seconds, stop heating, continue to shake on the decolorization shaking table for 5-10 minutes, change the water to complete the decolorization, observe the results.

Note:

1. In the cleaning step before dyeing (the first step), the quality of water is very important, and the better the quality, the higher the sensitivity. Studies have shown that if the water is heated and cleaned, the dyeing effect and sensitivity are only the same as that of conventional methanol Coomasil bright blue dyeing (molecular cloning second edition).

2. Use tap water to clean when decolorizing.

3. To get the dye glue without background, repeat the decolorization step or place the glue in water overnight.

4. The shrinkage of the PAGE glue dyed by this product is less than 5%, and the dyed glue can be placed in water for several months without obvious decolorization.

5. After each heating, continue to shake on the decolorizing shaking table for 5 minutes to enhance the dyeing effect.

6. The dyeing solution is slightly corrosive, please wear gloves.
