Gibberellic acid, also known as gibberellic A3 (GA3), is an endogenous plant growth regulator that plays various important roles in plant development: 1) stimulating cell division and elongation to promote rapid root elongation; 2) GA can release dormancy and induce mitosis and initiation in plants that require stacking treatment or light-induced germination; 3) improve seed germination rate. They are also involved in physiological processes such as gravitropathy, tension and flowering patterns. Low concentration of GA3 can significantly regulate plant growth, and the commonly used working concentration is 0.01-5 mg/L. High concentrations of GA3 May have the opposite effect.
This product is suitable for plant cell culture. It can be first dissolved in ethanol (50 mg/ml) and then diluted to the required working concentration with water. It is recommended to be used on the spot. It can also be filtered to remove bacteria and stored in a relatively high concentration of storage solution (diluted aqueous solution) at 4 ℃ in the dark.
