Purpose:
Indolebutyric acid (IBA) is a kind of plant growth regulator. Plant growth regulator is a synthetic organic compound with physiological activity, similar to plant hormones, which can regulate the physiological process of plants and control the growth and reproduction of plants. Indolebutyric acid (IBA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) are two commonly used plant growth regulators for cutting and rooting, among which indolebutyric acid is the best. Because it operates less in the plant, it is easily retained near the site of use. In addition, if a root-promoting growth regulator is mixed with another substance that facilitates the function of the growth regulator, it may show synergistic or additive effects, which may lead to more satisfactory results for plants that are difficult to root. Indolebutyric acid has a strong rooting effect, but the adventitious roots produced are fine and long, while naphthyl acetic acid (NAA) has a less and thicker rooting effect. Therefore, a better effect can often be obtained when they are used together.
Indolebutyric acid (IBA), a broad-spectrum growth regulator of indoles, is a good rooting agent that can promote the rooting of cutlings of herbaceous and woody ornamental plants. Can also be used for fruit set fruit, improve the rate of fruit set.
