In vitro culture of histiocytic cells, in primary cell culture of histiocytic dispersion (preparation of tissue blocks into a single cell suspension), and in pass-through cell culture, digestion and dispersion of adherent growth cells are performed using histiocytic digestion fluid. Commonly used digestive fluids are trypsin, EDTA, etc., whose function is mainly to hydrolyze intercellular proteins (such as extracellular matrix), disperse tissues or adherent cells into single cells, and make cell suspension for further experiments.
The Trypsin-EDTA Solution produced by Solarbio contains 2.5% trypsinase 0.2% EDTA (5.3mM), which is dissolved in calcium and magnesium free balanced salt solution, and can be directly used for digestion of cultured cells and tissues after filtration. This product has the characteristics of convenience, fast, stable and safe, good cell state, etc. Most adherent cells can be digested in about 2 minutes at room temperature. Trypsin-edta digestive solution has two kinds of products, including phenol red and no phenol red, and phenol red has the pH indicator function.
