Product introduction:
Hematoxylin is a staining agent for the nucleus and chromatin. It is also an acid-base indicator, pH 5.0 (yellow) to pH 6.0 (purple), 0.0 (pink) to 1.0 (green). Qualitative testing of copper (II), iron (III), molybdate, bismuth (III), and tin (IV). Photometric determination of vanadium, aluminum, tin (IV), fluorine, niobium, and tantalum.
Solubility:soluble in alcohol, slightly soluble in water and glycerol, soluble in hot water and hot ethanol, soluble in solutions of alkali, ammonia, and borax.
