Product Introduction:
Oligomycin is one of the inhibitors of oxidative phosphorylation energy transfer, and binds to the Fo part of the proton pump (H ATP) (the part of the membrane through H), which can specifically inhibit the transport of H, and therefore also inhibit the synthesis and decomposition of ATP. In biochemical research, it can be used as an inhibitor of oxidized phosphoric acid, so that electron transfer can not be carried out, and directly interfere with the formation process of ATP. Oligomycin D, antifungal.
Use and synthesis method:
Solubility at 25℃ (g/100ml solvent) : water 0.002; Ether 28; Benzene 6; Anhydrous ethanol 25; Glacial acetic acid 37.5; Acetone 85.
Physical shape:
White powder, macrolide antibody complex produced by a class of actinobacteria similar to Streptomyces diastatochr-mogenes. There are four kinds of oligomycin A, B, C and D. Oligomycin A melted and decomposed at 150-151 ℃. In ethanol, the UV absorption peak is 225nm, σ is about 20000. Oligomycin B is 28-oxyoligomycin A; Oligomycin C is 12-deoxyoligomycin A; Oligomycin D is 26-demethylene-oligomycin A, melting point 116 ~ 119℃. Rotation 116° ~ 119°(c=1.36, chloroform)
Use: Biochemical research.
