Use and synthesis method:
Scientific research reagent, widely used in molecular biology, pharmacology and other scientific research. This product is the third generation cephalosporin antibiotics. It has high antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, pneumococcus and other enterobacteriaceae bacteria, Haemophilus influenzae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It also has good antibacterial effect on nitrate-negative bacillus and alcaligenes. Most of the ? lactamases produced by bacteria are highly stable, so they can still have antibacterial activity against the multi-drug resistant strains of the above-mentioned Gram-negative bacilli. Gram-positive coccus such as pneumococcus and hemolytic streptococcus are highly sensitive to this product, but this product has only moderate activity against staphylococcus, enterococcus and methicillin-resistant staphylococcus are often resistant to this product. This product has certain antibacterial activity against anaerobic bacteria such as peptococcus and peptostreptococcus, but has poor antibacterial action against Bacteroides fragile.
Its mechanism of action is to bind to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) on the bacterial cell membrane, make the transferase acylated, inhibit the synthesis of the bacterial septum and cell wall, affect the cross-linking of mucopeptide components in the cell wall, inhibit cell division and growth, lengthen the bacterial form, and finally dissolve and die.
Solubility:
Slightly soluble in phosphate buffers (pH 6.0), slightly soluble in water or methanol, insoluble in acetone or trichloromethane
Storage conditions: room temperature, avoid light moisture-proof sealed dry.
