Product Introduction:
The product can be reversibly bound to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome near the donor ( P site) through the bacterial cell membrane, blocking the binding of the transfer ribonucleic acid (t-RNA) to the P site, and also blocking the transfer of the polypeptide chain from the receptor site ( A site) to the P site, thus inhibiting the bacterial protein synthesis.
Use and synthesis method:
Scientific research reagent, widely used in molecular biology, pharmacology and other scientific research. This product is a semi-synthetic 14-membered macrolide antibiotic. The antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial action are basically similar to erythromycin, the effect on gram-positive bacteria is slightly worse than erythromycin, and the effect on Legionella pneumophila is stronger than erythromycin. The antimicrobial action against Chlamydia pneumoniae, mycoplasma pneumoniae and ureaplasma urealyticum was similar to or slightly stronger than erythromycin.
Storage conditions: room temperature, avoid light moisture-proof sealed dry.
