Product Introduction

E.coliSSB single stranded binding protein is a single stranded DNA (ssDNA) binding protein that is required for E.coliDNA replication and repair. SSB proteins form a tetramer specific collection of 8 to 16 bases, thereby protecting ssDNA from nuclease degradation. In vitro experiments showed that the protein could stabilize the single-stranded region of DNA and relax the double-stranded region of DNA, thus enhancing the activity of DNA polymerase.

Precautions

(1) The molecular weight of the protein was 18.9kD.

(2) The protein preservation solution contains 50% glycerol.

(3) The optimal reaction temperature of the protein is 37℃, and the protein can be inactivated at 65℃for 20min.
