Ammonium sulfate: Biologics, precipitated proteins, chromatographic reagents, urine tests, culture medium prepared in haploid breeding. Medicine is used as a salting agent, a catalyst for food sauce color and for the culture of yeast production from fresh yeast. It is also used as an aid for acid dyes and as a deashing agent for leather. Hydrogen peroxide is produced for ammonium persulfate, and electroplating.
