Purity:≥95.0%,specific activity: 940 clarithromycin units /1 mg
Use and synthesis method:
Biochemical reagent, biochemical experimental research, can be used in molecular biology and tissue culture (prevention of microbial contamination and resistance screening). Clarithromycin, also known as erythromycin, is a derivative of erythromycin. It is a 14-membered macrolide antibiotic. The antibacterial spectrum is the same as erythromycin and roxithromycin, etc., but it has slightly better antibacterial effect on gram-positive bacteria such as streptococcus, pneumococcus and staphylococcus, and has certain antibacterial activity on induced erythromycin resistant strains. The antibacterial effect of clarithromycin and its metabolites on influenza bacillus was enhanced. The product also has a certain effect on gonococcus, Listeria, campylobacter jejuni, and has a stronger effect on Legionella pneumophila, mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydia trachomatis, ureaplasma ureolytica, etc., and the MIC90 is about 0.008 ~ 0.12mg/L (for reference only).
Solubility:
pH8.0~10.0; Soluble in trichloromethane, soluble in acetone or ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in methanol or ethanol, insoluble in water; Rotation -94°~-102°.
