Product introduction

Urinary myoglobin (Mb), like hemoglobin (Hb), contains heme groups in the molecule and has peroxidase like activity. It can catalyze H2O2 as an electron acceptor to make chromogen oxidized to color, and its color is proportional to the content of myoglobin or hemoglobin.

This kit distinguishes myoglobin by the fact that myoglobin can be dissolved in 80% saturation ammonium sulfate solution, whereas hemoglobin cannot. This kit is mostly used for the detection of myoglobin in human or animal urine and is a relatively specific method that can distinguish between urinary myoglobin (Mb) and hemoglobin (Hb).
