Product introduction
Banelke's reagent, also known as Benelke's solution, Benedict's reagent, Benedict's reagent, Benedict test solution, or Benedict's reagent, is a light blue solution." The kit uses modified Bainstein reagent for detection. Its principle is that glucose containing aldehyde groups can reduce the blue Cu2+ in the solution to yellow to brick red copper oxide (Cu2O) precipitation under high heat and strong alkali conditions. It is mainly used for qualitative detection of glucose content in human and animal urine.
