There are two types of ribosomes in higher plants: one is prokaryote, which exists in chloroplast and mitochondria, and the other is eukaryotype, which exists in cytoplasm. Ribosome is the site of protein biosynthesis in cells, and it is also related to some traits of organisms, such as resistance mutations. With the development of molecular biology in higher plants, the isolation, identification and utilization of these ribosomes are becoming more and more important. Chloroplast ribosome extraction kit is a simple and rapid method to extract chloroplast ribosome. This kit is suitable for extracting chloroplast ribosomes from fresh plant samples, and the recovery rate of chloroplast ribosomes is low because most chloroplasts may be destroyed during cryopreservation. The chloroplast ribosome extracted by chloroplast ribosome extraction kit has biological activity and can be used in chloroplast ribosome function study, protein extraction and other downstream applications. This kit can quickly extract chloroplast ribosomes by non-enzymatic extraction method, but the recovery rate is slightly lower than that of enzymatic chloroplast ribosome extraction kit. If you need the enzymatic extraction kit, you can contact us to choose other goods. The recovery rate of chloroplast ribosome obtained by enzymatic extraction will increase, but it takes a long time and destroys the protein. Please choose the kit according to different needs. This kit needs to use a centrifugal force of 170000×g. If there is no corresponding centrifuge, you can choose the kit of low-speed centrifugation, and the kit of low-speed centrifuge only needs to reach a centrifugal force of less than 20000×g to extract. General conventional desktop centrifuges can meet the requirements. The purity of chloroplast ribosome extracted by low-speed centrifugation kit was lower than that of high-speed centrifugation, and the recovery rate was the same. We can provide protein extraction kits for animal cells, tissues, plants, fungi, yeast, microorganisms, algae, liquid, soil and other different samples.
