Product introduction
For chromogenic culture of Salmonella Salmonella showed a bright red color.
Salmonella chromogenic medium is used for rapid detection of Salmonella in food, water, milk, ice cream and meat products. Except for Salmonella typhi, which is colorless on the medium and cannot be directly identified, other Salmonella are bright red, Escherichia coli and coliform are blue, Citrobacter is purple, and other bacteria are yellow or colorless. The specificity of this medium is very high, up to 98%. It is an ideal medium for rapid detection of Salmonella except non-typhoidal Salmonella.
