Sambucus Nigra Lectin (SNA, EBL), CY3
Storage:Store at 2-8℃
Elderberry lectins isolated from elderberry bark preferentially bind to α-2, 6-terminal galactose-linked sialic acid, with a lower degree of α-2,3 binding. Lactose or galactose also inhibit binding to some extent. This lectin appears to bind to sialic acid, which is linked to n-acetylgalactosamine or galactose. SNA can inhibit free protein synthesis. Cy3-labeled elderberry lectins have appropriate amounts of fluorescent dyes that bind to provide optimal staining properties for the lectins. The conjugated compound basically does not contain uncoupled fluorescent dyes.
