Bauhinia Purpurea Lectin (BPL)
Storage:Store at 2-8℃
For glycoconjugates containing the galactosyl (beta-1,3) n-acetylgalactosamine structure, BPL binding appears to be strongest, and oligosaccharides with n-acetylgalactosamine with terminal alpha connections can also bind. Although the binding specificity is similar to that of peanut lectins, the tissue staining patterns of the two lectins are different.
