Galanthus Nivalis Lectin (GNL), Biotinylated
Storage:Short-term storage at 2-8℃;long-term storage at -20℃
Unlike most mannose-specific lectins, Galanthus nivalis is not a metalloprotein and does not require ca2+ or Mn2+ binding. Preferentially bound to structures containing (alpha-1,3) mannose residues. Biotinylated adjunctive proteins with appropriate amounts of biotin provide optimal staining properties for this lectin. The conjugated compound contains essentially no unconjugated biotin and is preserved with sodium azide.
