Product Introduction

Ribonuclease T1 is an endonuclease that acts against guanosine. Phosphoric acid residues (or inosine 3' -phosphoric acid) and adjacent nucleotides 5' The cleavage of RNA or deamination RNA between the -OH residues is highly specific and forms the corresponding intermediate 2'. , 3' - cyclic phosphoric acid. It cuts single-stranded RNA from guanosine 3& 39; -phosphate end releases oligonucleotides.

Application

Ribonuclease T1 has been widely used in molecular cloning and DNA sequencing. Because of its specificity, it has become a commonly used cutting enzyme for determining structure, nearest neighbor frequency, and RNA sequencing. This enzyme has further applications in the preparation of nucleoside 2 ', 3 '-cyclic phosphoric acid, the synthesis of oligonucleotides, and the removal of RNA from DNA preparations. This enzyme is also used as a non-mammalian source of RNase in various applications.

Inhibitors: Ag+, Zn2+, Cu2+, and Hg2+ at 1 x 10-3 M

Unit definition: At 37 ℃, pH 7.5, an acid-soluble product equivalent to A260 units is released from yeast RNA within 15 minutes.
