Introduction

5 & # 39; -nucleotidase (5' -Nucleotidase, 5' -NT is a substent-specific hydrolase that can act on a variety of nucleotides. It is composed of two identical subunits, each with a molecular weight of 70kD, and has a hydrophobic group and an enzyme catalytic active center outside the surface of the cell membrane. It is widely present in human liver and various tissues, located on the cell membrane, and mainly exists in the timid duct and sinusoid space membrane in the liver. One unit of 5 ´ -nucleotidase can produce 1 micromole of inosine per minute from IMP at 37 ℃.
