| Product Description | Agrobacterium GV3101 has a C58 background, and its nuclear gene contains rif, which is a screening gene for favorable fupicin resistance. In order to facilitate the transformation operation, this strain carries the carmine Ti plasmid pMP90(pTiC58DT-DNA) without its own transport function. This plasmid contains the vir gene (the vir gene is the necessary element for T-DNA insertion into the plant genome, the T-DNA transfer function of the pMP90(pTiC58DT-DNA) plasmid itself is damaged, but it can help the transferred binary vector T-DNA transfer smoothly), and the plasmid is gentamicin-resistant. Some expression plasmids, such as pGreen, pGreenII-62SK and pGs2, that are missing replication-related elements of the bacterium, such as the REP region of the replication origin of pVS1 or the STA region of the pVS1 plasmid, cannot reproduce in the GV3101 strain. The helper plasmid pSoup can help these incomplete binary expression plasmids replicate in Agrobacterium and render the GV3101(pSoup) strain tetracycline (Tet) resistant. The strain is suitable for transgenic manipulation of plants such as Arabidopsis, tobacco, maize and potato. Agrobacterium GV3101(pSoup) receptive cells are prepared by special technology and detected by pGs2 plasmid, the conversion efficiency can reach 103CFU/μg, and the conversion efficiency does not change after 12 months of storage at -70℃. |
