Human intestinal organoid medium is used to establish and culture human intestinal organoids from adult stem cells. The self-renewing epithelial cells of the intestine are driven by the proliferation of stem cells located in crypts and their progenitor cells. Human small intestinal organoids show all small intestinal organ characteristics due to their ability of intestinal epithelial cells in terms of structure, cell type composition, and self-renewal. Human small intestinal organoids provide a paradigm for the study of human gut development and disease, and can also be applied in regenerative biology through in vitro dilation.
