It performs a variety of oxidation reactions (e.g. caffeine 8-oxidation， omeprazole sulphoxidation， midazolam 1’-hydroxylation and midazolam 4-hydroxylation) of structurally unrelated compounds， including steroids， fatty acids， and xenobiotics.
