When observing the mitosis of plant cells, it is necessary to dye the chromosomes with alkaline dye solution(carmine acetate solution or gentian violet solution).In pollen detection, Carmine Acetate Stain Solution can be used to detect whether the pollen is in the mononuclear stage.
