| Background | Deacetyl asperulosidic acid has been reported to prevent in vitro DNA damage induced by 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide (4NQO) and inhibit IL-2 production as well as natural killer cell activation. Deacetyl asperulosidic acid has antioxidant activity by increasing superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. Deacetyl asperulosidic acid has antigenic activity and inhibits induction of chromosomal aberrations in hamster ovarian cells and in mice. |
