Acid Phosphatase (Source From Wheat Germ)
CAS:9001-77-8
Storage:-20℃
APases are located in cytosoles, vacuoles, and cell walls. Plant acid phosphatase is important for phosphate acquisition, which mobilizes organophosphates in the soil. Phosphate starvation induces acid phosphatase production. Acid phosphatase originates from aleurone and skullcap tissues during germination. It can hydrolyze phytic acid, ATP, protein phosphoric acid, and nucleotide phosphoric acid and plays a role in general metabolic reactions. Wheat germ APase consists of four isozymes. The molecular weight of wheat germ APase was 58 kDa, the optimal pH was 5.7, the pH range was 4.0-7.0, and the optimal temperature was 45°C.
