Product introduction:
Under normal circumstances, Sudan Black B is black brown or black powder, soluble in acetone and toluene, slightly soluble in ethanol, and almost insoluble in water. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears as a purple light black color, diluted to a dark green light blue color, and produces blue to black precipitates. Sudan black B is a diazo fat staining agent used to stain frozen sections of neutral lipids and paraffin sections of some lipoproteins.
Product Usage:
Used for histological staining of chromosomes, Golgi apparatus, and white blood cell granules. Sudan black B is used in the study of hematological diseases because it can stain myelocytes but not lymphocytes, and can be used to extract fingerprints and stain myelocytes. It can dye phospholipids gray, neutral fats blue black, and is also used for staining bacterial liposomes.
