The cyanine dye Cy3 is often used in biomolecular labeling, fluorescence imaging and other fluorescent biological analysis. They are widely used in peptides, proteins, nucleotides, etc. The fluorescence of Cy3 dye is greatly enhanced after binding to proteins.
