| Background | Physalin B has been reported to have a wide range of biological activities and can be used to treat diseases such as inflammatory eczema and herpes. Physalin B inhibits NF-κB and NLRP3 by activating the PI3K/Akt pathway， thereby improving the inflammatory response caused by LPS-induced acute lung injury. Physalin B inhibited PDGF-BB-induced proliferation， migration and phenotypic transformation of VSMC by activating the Nrf2 pathway. Physalin B exerts antitumor activity by inhibiting LAP2α-HDAC1-mediated glioma-associated oncogene-1 deacetylation and hepatic stellate cell activation. |
