This product is identical to GE's Cy3.5 NHS ester. Cy3.5NHS ester easily reacts with amino groups. Various cyanine 3.5 (Cy3.5) dyes have been used to label biomolecules for fluorescence imaging and other fluorescence-based biochemical assays. They are widely used to label peptides，proteins，and oligonucleotides，among others. The fluorescence of Cy3.5 dye increases greatly after binding to proteins.
