5-ROX is a purified single isomer of 5(6)-ROX. It is a good choice for certain complex biological applications where reproducibility is more critical than material cost，as small differences in position between 5-ROX and 6-ROX can significantly affect some of the biological properties of the conjugate. 5-ROX is mainly used to label peptides and proteins.
