Tetramethylrhodamine-6-maleimide is a monomer purified from a mixture of tetramethylrhodamine-5(6)-maleimide and is widely used for thiol modification of peptides and proteins. In some complex biological studies，experimentation is more critical than material consumption. Compared with the 5-isomer，tetramethylrhodamine-6-maleimide is more suitable for the thiohydroxylation modification of nucleotides and nucleic acids.
