6-ROX,C2 maleimide is a thiol-reactive ROX probe that can be used to develop new ROX bioconjugates. It can selectively react with the thiol-based groups of peptides，proteins，and other biomolecules (e.g.，thiol-modified oligonucleotides and small organic molecules containing thiols). 6-ROX，C2 maleimide has the same spectral properties as 6-ROX conjugates，therefore，it is suitable for any instrument that can detect 6-ROX，and 6-ROX，C2 maleimide is more stable compared to the commonly used 6-ROX acid and 6-ROX，SE.
