The Texas Red-X dye contains an additional seven-atom aminohexanoyl spacer (X) between the fluorophore and the carboxyl group. This spacer helps to separate the fluorophore from its junction point，potentially reducing the interaction between the fluorophore and the biomolecule it binds to. This product is a single 5 isomers that provide more reproducible results.
