Texas Red maleimide is an ideal thiol-reactive fluorescent reagent for labeling thiol-containing biomolecules，such as peptides，proteins，and thiol-modified oligonucleotides. It selectively reacts with peptides，proteins，and other biomolecules (e.g.，thiol-derived organic small molecules) containing thiol groups.
