Appearance:White Powder
Storage:Store at RT,3 years
Product Introduction:
The mechanism of action of this product is to bind to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, prevent the extension of the peptide chain, and thus inhibit the protein synthesis of bacterial cells. This strain is a bacteriostatic drug, but at high concentrations, it also has bactericidal effect on some bacteria.
Storage conditions: room temperature, light, moisture, sealed and dry.
Use and synthesis method:
Only for scientific research, not for other purposes, widely used in molecular biology, pharmacology and other scientific research. This product belongs to lincomycin class antibiotics. It is a derivative of lincomycin, the antibacterial spectrum is the same as lincomycin, and the antibacterial activity is 4 ~ 8 times stronger than lincomycin. It has high antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, diphtheria bacillus and anthrax bacillus. It also has good antibacterial activity to gram-negative anaerobic bacteria, and most bacteroides including fragile Bacteroides, Clostridium, peptococcus, peptostreptococcus, perfringens and so on are highly sensitive to this product. Gram-negative aerobic bacteria including Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria and Mycoplasma were resistant to this product. There is no cross-resistance between this product and penicillin, chloramphenicol, cephalosporins and tetracycline, partial cross-resistance with macrolide, and complete cross-resistance with lincomycin.
Solubility:
Highly soluble in water, soluble in methanol or pyridine, slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in propylene or trichloromethane
