Product introduction

Milky white to yellowish powder, with papaya characteristic odor, slightly hygroscopic. The ability to hydrolyze protein is strong, but it can hardly decompress peptone. It is soluble in water and glycerol, insoluble in general organic solvents, and has strong heat resistance.

Scope of application

It can be used in biochemical studies for the preparation of antibody Fab fragments as well as cell isolation.

Unit definition

Ultraviolet spectrophotometry: under the measurement conditions (37±0.2℃; PH 7.0). When the absorbance of TCA-soluble substance released from casein hydrolysis per minute at 275nm is equivalent to that of 1 microgram of tyrosine, the amount of enzyme required is one unit of activity, expressed as u/g.
