Use and synthesis method:
Reagent products for biochemical experimental research, used as antibiotics for bacterial medium configuration.
Scientific research reagent, widely used in molecular biology, pharmacology and other scientific research. Cefepime, a broad-spectrum fourth-generation cephalosporin, has bactericidal effects by inhibiting the biosynthesis of bacterial cell walls. The in vitro test showed that the product had effect on both gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and had strong antibacterial activity on the bacterium Cyanoplast, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other non-fermentative bacilli, Haemophilus and Staphylococcus. It is used for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, mainly for respiratory tract infections caused by vigic infections such as Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This product has low affinity for β-lactamase encoded by bacterial chromosomes, can highly tolerate the hydrolysis of most β-lactamase, and can quickly penetrate into the cells of Gram-negative bacteria. In bacterial cells, the target molecule is penicillin-binding protein (PBP).
