Product introduction
This product is mainly used in animal physiological experiments.
Meglumine diatracurium is a benzoate contrast agent of iodine, that is, the methylmeglumine salt of meglumine diatracurium. The mechanism of action is referred to as panshadowic acid. Meglumine diatrizoate absorbs a higher dose of X-ray in the body tissue than the surrounding soft tissue. Under X-ray irradiation, it can form density contrast and develop. When injected into blood vessels or other lumina, it can show the shape of lumen, and when excreted through the kidney, it can show the shape of urinary tract.
The in vivo course of this product is similar to that of sodium panshadowate. After intravenous injection, it has a short retention time in the body, and most of it passes through the glomerular filtration and is excreted in the urine. The kidneys were well developed. It is often used in urography. The viscosity of meglumine diatrizoate is higher than that of sodium diatrizoate, which is not convenient for rapid injection. Heating can reduce its viscosity. "It is less toxic and is also suitable for selective angiography of visceral arteries, cerebral angiography, cardiac angiography, and arthrography, but not for ventriculography or myelography."
